Cultural outing to view Van Gogh

As part of our creative arts and culture theme for the month of July, and following a virtual tour of Vincent Van Gogh’s life and art, we took a little group outing to see his latest exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria on St Kilda Rd in the city of Melbourne.

Travelling by train, we had a good time chatting and laughing, and the exhibition was just wonderful. Amongst hundreds of other art lovers, we enjoyed seeing Van Gogh’s “Seasons” collection of original works, and followed this with rousing conversation over a delicious lunch and coffee at Southgate, before heading back home to contemplate the day.

Happy faces!
